Company has surpassed 53.19 million tonnes (m.t.) of coal production in 2012-2013 and poised for achieving 54.30 m.t. by 2013-14. The Company proposed to open 9 new mines/projects by the end of XII plan period, adapting new technologies such as Continuous Miner, Long Wall in deep Underground mines and through High Wall Mining in Opencast Projects.
