BSNL proposes to recruit 106 DGMs in BSNL Telcom Operations and 56 DGMs in BSNL Telcom Finance through Online written Test to be held on 20- 01 – 2013 on all India basis followed by Interview as per the vacancy details given below :

BSNL Telecom Operations - 106 Posts (UR – 48 ; OBC – 38 ; SC – 13 ; ST – 07) – out of which 04 Posts reserved for PH.

BSNL Telecom Finance - 56 Posts (UR – 27 ; OBC – 16 ; SC -09 ; ST – 04) – out of which 02 Posts reserved for PH.

Scale of Pay : Rs.32900 – 58000/- (IDA revised) – annual increment 3% of Basic pay + HRA Perks, Medical Benefits, LTC etc.,as admissible as per Company Rules.

Educational Qualification :

DGM – BSNL Telecom Operations : BE/B.Tech in first Class (Electronics and Communications/Electrical/IT/Computer/Computer Science) – any other subject /Discipline will not be considered.

DGM BSNL Telecom finance : CA/ICWA/ACS

Eligibility Criteria / Work Experience : Candidates from Public Sector, Private Sector and Government are eligible to apply. All Candidates however, must fulfill all three criteria mentioned in Recruitment Rule 2008 of Direct Recruitment of DGMs of BSNL Management Services issued vide NO.314-36/2008-Pers.I(Pt) dated 25.6.2009 as listed below :

i) Twelve years of Post Qualification working experience as on 01.08.2012

ii) Minimum 3 years experience as on 01.08.2012 in a)E-4 in case of PSU experience OR  b) Equivalent annual gross salary, which comes to approximately Rs.7 Lacs Gross in case of Private Sector OR c) Minimum work experience of 5 years as on 01.08.2012 in a Company with an annual turn over more than Rs.100 crores. (In case of PSU/Private Company’s)

Age Limit : 45 years as on 01.08.2012 (Relaxation – OBC – 3 yrs ; SC/ST – 5 yrs ; PH – 10 yrs)

Selection Process : Written Examination followed by Interview (Weightage – Written test : 75% and Personal Interview : 25%)

Scheme of Examination and Syllabus : There will be one paper of 150 multiple choice Objective type questions of 3 hours duration as per the syllabus mentioned below :

Part I – Management Aptitude (75 Questions) : General Management, Management Information Systems, Managerial Economics, Marketing, Accounting and Finance, Human Resources Management, Organizational behavior, Strategic Management, Operation Management, Telecom Knowledge and current events of National and International importance.

Part II – Cognitive ability (75 Questions) : Quantitative ability and data sufficiency, Reasoning (eg – Analytical, Logical, Critical Reasoning), Verbal ability, Reading and Analysis.

Examination Centres : Chennai, Delhi, Kolkata, Mumbai and Guwahati.

Application fee : Rs.1500/- for General and OBC Candidates (Rs.750/- for SC/ST/PH) – DD /Pay Order in favour of Accounts Officer (Cash), BSNL, Payable at New Delhi to be sent along with the Hard Copy of the Print Out of the ONLINE application.

How to Apply : Interested Candidates are required to apply ONLINE. After applying online, candidate is required to download the system generated Registration Form with unique registration number and paste his/her photograph & signature with date at appropriate place mentioned on the form and send it along with bank demand draft/pay order on the postal address mentioned on the Online Application form (i.e Shri Shiv Singh, AGM(DE-II), BSNL C.O, Room No. 223, Eastern Court, Janpath,New Delhi-110001).
