SOUTH MALABAR GRAMIN BANK (SMGB) invites online applications from Indian citizens, for the posts of Officer in Junior Management (Scale I) (Assistant Manager) Cadre and Office Assistant (Multipurpose) who have appeared for the Common Written Examination for RRBs conducted by IBPS in September 2012 and declared qualified.

1. Officer Junior Management (Scale-I) (Assistant Managers)

Qualification : Degree in any discipline from a recognized University or its equivalent  with Proficiency in local language

Age Limit : 18 – 28 years (Relaxation : SC/ST – 5 yrs ; OBC – 3 yrs ; PH – 10 yrs)

Probation Period : Two years

2. Office Assistant (Multipurpose)

No. of Posts : 100 Posts (UR – 62 ; OBC – 27 ; SC – 10 ; ST – 01)

Pay Scale : Rs.7200-400(3)-8400-500(3)-9900-600(4)-12300700(7)-17200-1300(1)-18500-800(1)-19300

Qualification : Degree in any discipline from a recognized University or its equivalent  with Proficiency in local language

Age Limit : 18 – 28 years (Relaxation : SC/ST – 5 yrs ; OBC – 3 yrs ; PH – 10 yrs)

Probation Period : One year

Essential Qualification : Candidates who have been declared qualified in the RRBs-Common Written Examinationconducted by IBPS in September 2012.

Selection Procedure : Selection will be made on the basis of performance in RRBs- Common Written Examination(CWE) conducted by IBPS in September 2012 and Personal Interview.

Travel Reimbursement : The candidates will have to appear for interview at their own expense.  However, unemployed eligible SC/ST/PWD candidates attending the Interview will be reimbursed to and fro second class ordinary train/bus fare by the shortest route on production of evidence of travel.

Application fee : Rs.100/- for General and OBC Candidates (Rs.20/- for SC/ST/PH/EX-SM) – Requisite Application Fee may be paid through CBS (Core Banking Solution) at any of the branches of either Canara Bank or South Malabar Gramin Bank, by means of a Payment Challan available in the Bank’s website www.smgbank.com.

How to Apply : Candidates are required to apply ONLINE. After successful submission of the application, candidates shall take a print out of the application and keep the same intact for future reference. The Print Out need not be sent by Post but must be produced along with other required documents if called for Interview.
