Commission will hold a Combined All India Open Examination for recruitment to the  posts of Data Entry Operator and Lower Division Clerk for which 12th Standard Pass or  equivalent is the minimum qualification. The Examination will comprise of a Written  Objective Type Examination followed by Data Entry Skill Test / Typing Test .

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS: ( As on 01.08.2013)

Must have passed 12th Standard or equivalent or higher examination from a  recognised Board or University.

NOTE-I: As per Ministry of Human Resource Development Notification No. 44 dated  01.03.1995 published in Gazette of India edition dated 08.04.1995, the Degree obtained  through open Universities/Distance Education Mode needs to be recognized by Distance  Education Council, IGNOU. Accordingly, unless such Degrees had been recognized for  the period when the candidates acquired the relevant qualification, they will not be  accepted for the purpose of Educational Qualification.

NOTE – II : Candidates who have not acquired/will not acquire the educational qualification as  on 01.08.2013 will not be eligible and need not apply. 

NOTE- III : All candidates who are called for appearing at the Skill Test/Typing Test will be  required to produce the relevant Certificates in Original such as Mark sheets, Provisional  Certificate, as proof of having acquired the minimum educational qualification on or before  01.08.2013, Community Status certificate etc. failing which the candidature of such candidate  will be cancelled by the Commission. A candidate must have attained the age of 18 years and must not have  attained the age of27 years as on 01.08.2013, for Data Entry Operator and Lower  Division Clerk (i.e. he/she must have born not earlier than 02.08.1986 and not later than  01.08.1995)
